Compensation

FUCHS provides a competitive salary based on experience, with a range of $24 - $26 per hour. Actual pay will reflect the new hire's qualifications and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Fluid Maintenance Specialist will oversee the management and upkeep of our clients' industrial fluids, which include coolants, oils, and waste fluids. Responsibilities encompass:

  • Sampling and analyzing fluids
  • Performing laboratory tests according to established protocols and making necessary adjustments based on results
  • Ensuring appropriate fluid levels in various machinery at client locations
  • Data entry and communication through a web-based management system
  • Handling materials and operating forklifts
  • Transporting and disposing of metal chip hoppers
  • Maintaining accurate records of chemical product inventories and waste levels
  • Adhering to safety protocols and customer requirements
  • Participating in daily briefings with the Supervisor
  • Effectively communicating with site Supervisors and clients
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or machine shop setting
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Capability to stand for 4-8 hours and walk several miles daily
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs when necessary
  • Comfortable bending, crouching, and stooping to collect samples
  • Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment
  • Basic computer skills, including internet navigation and email
  • Mechanical aptitude is advantageous
  • Previous forklift operation experience is preferred
