Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and professional Truck Driver to join our team at Northwest Heavy Haul LLC. As a Heavy Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting a variety of goods and materials from one location to another.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and Delivery: Safely transport goods and materials from one location to another, adhering to pick up and delivery schedules.
  • Routine Vehicle Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections and preventative maintenance on your assigned truck.
  • Route Planning: Plan the safest and most efficient routes of travel to ensure timely delivery.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain detailed driving logs, including work periods and rest periods, as required by law.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) driving laws.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Truck Driver is preferred, but we will consider candidates with less time behind the wheel.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and TWIC Card required.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with GPS systems, ability to read maps, and use of CB radios or cell phones.
  • Qualifications: Clean driving record, ability to pass a background check and drug screening, and willingness to travel regularly and drive long distances.
