Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team at National Pump Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and execute the loading and unloading of trucks, as well as the arrangement of shipments through various carriers.
  • Prepare and manage bills of lading, shipping reports, and other documentation to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Verify the accuracy of shipments against pick lists, packing slips, and other documentation.
  • Operate and maintain material handling equipment to safely move shipments within the facility.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area, including the outside storage area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in an industrial product manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Computer literacy and basic math skills required.
Working Conditions

The Shipping & Receiving Associate will be required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as needed. The employee must also be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
