GENERAL SUMMARY:

Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged warehouse department.

What You'll Do:

  • 1st or2nd Shift
  • Supervise all New Pack seasonal employees.
  • Study production orders to assure product type and quantity.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining production schedule for customer orders.
  • Observe production operations and inspect cans that are produced.
  • Start, adjust and repair production machinery or notify maintenance department.
  • Ensure all MSS sheets for all Production Lines are completed and being performed.
  • Completing Monthly and yearly cycle counts or as needed/asked.
  • Completing inventory checks to ensure supplies are ordered on time.
  • Completing daily reports, log sheets or other paperwork that are needed by manager.
  • Maintain open communications with all Manager and corporate office.
  • Training of employees.
  • Assist in supervising clerical staff.
  • Cross train and assist warehouse supervisors as needed.
  • Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager/Assistant Manager.
  • Notify manager immediately if any unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions that are discovered.
  • Supervise QA rework.
  • 12 hour shift (Only during new pack)
  • Weekend availability as needed. (Only during new pack)

What You'll Bring:

  • Associate degree (A.A) or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school: or one year to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Bilingual (SPANISH Preferred not required)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
