We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Safety Representative to ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines on our job sites. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting safety audits, identifying potential hazards, and developing safety procedures to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough safety audits on job sites to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of safety compliance and incident reports.
  • Provide safety training and guidance to construction workers and contractors.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents on job sites and prepare detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with construction management and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, construction management, or related field.
  • Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 500-hour, CSP, CHST) is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in construction safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The Construction Safety Representative will work primarily on job sites, which may involve exposure to hazardous materials, equipment, and conditions. The role may require travel to multiple job sites and occasional weekend or evening work.

The Construction Safety Representative must be able to stand, walk, and climb on uneven surfaces for extended periods, as well as lift and move up to 50 pounds. The role may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and respirators.
