Coding Manager

We are seeking a skilled Coding Manager to lead our professional and hospital services coding and data quality analysis departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the completion of coding abstraction and coding quality review for advanced clinical editing and claim review prior to submission to third-party payors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the coding and data quality analysis departments to ensure efficient and accurate coding and data analysis.
- Develop and implement coding and data quality standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of coding and data analysis with other business functions.
- Provide training and support to coding staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in coding and data analysis to ensure our organization remains competitive.
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) with a focus on coding, health information management, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in coding and data analysis, with a strong background in coding and data quality management.
- CCS-P or CPC certification required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
