Professional Coding Manager for Hospital Services

Job Summary:
As a Professional Coding Manager for Hospital Services, you will oversee the daily operations of the professional coding services and coder quality analyst departments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the completion of code abstraction, claim submission, and the resolution of advanced front-end clinical coding edits and coding denials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the professional coding services and coder quality analyst departments.
- Ensure the completion of code abstraction, claim submission, and the resolution of advanced front-end clinical coding edits and coding denials.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve coding accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the coding team to resolve complex coding issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in coding.
Requirements:
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) in a specialized field.
- 5-7 years of experience in coding.
- CCS-P or CPC certification required.
- Position is remote, but candidates must be local as there may be occasional in-office work.
