Job Title: Procurement Business Process Owner

Lactalis USA is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Business Process Owner to join our dynamic team in Buffalo, NY or Chicago, IL. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for driving change and delivering value by managing and optimizing procurement processes within the SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize procurement processes within the SAP system, ensuring alignment with business operations and Lactalis corporate goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business operations processes are aligned with SAP Core Model design and Lactalis corporate goals.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, provide expert guidance on SAP Procurement functionalities, and ensure seamless integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.
  • Monitor system performance and address any issues that impact financial processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement management, Logistics, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., SAP Procurement Management, CPSM, CSCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, with at least 3 years in SAP Procurement Suite in S/4HANA implementation role.
  • Experience working in BPO role and mastery of Procurement processes.
Desired Behaviors & Experiences:
  • Promote and defend the management processes & rules, carried by LIS to its country/zone and divisions.
  • Represent Procurement within LIS governance bodies.
  • Communicate and share LIS's progress in its field with its business management.
  • Raise functional points that could not be arbitrated at your level before the relevant governance bodies.
