The Senior Vice President of Procurement will lead the development and implementation of strategic procurement initiatives to drive cost savings, improve supplier relationships, and enhance the overall procurement function. This role will be responsible for managing a team of procurement professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop solutions to drive growth and profitability

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful procurement strategies
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of procurement professionals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications in procurement or a related field (e.g. CSCP, CPM)
  • Experience working in a global procurement environment
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems
