Strategic Human Resources Director

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Human Resources Director to lead our human capital strategy and drive employee relations, talent management, and change management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, excellent communication skills, and the ability to implement policies and practices that promote a unified work culture.
The successful Candidate will report directly to the President/CEO and serve on the Executive team, providing departmental leadership and oversight of the People and Culture (P&C) department. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly those required in a unionized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute human capital strategy aligned with organizational goals and culture.
- Lead through change, implementing change management strategies to support staff.
- Provide oversight of the entire employee lifecycle and ensure a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture.
- Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet staffing needs and create a fully inclusive and diverse workplace.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, organizational culture, policies, and JEDI values.
Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience in a company or organization of at least 100 full-time employees. A SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification is preferred.
Salary Range: $220,000-$240,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
