This is a challenging role that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the flow of materials, tools, and other items within the manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting production delays, coordinating tool searches, and maintaining accurate records of inventory and tool control.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot production delays and expedite the flow of work, materials, and tools within the manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate tool searches and inventory management to ensure accurate records and efficient production.
- Maintain accurate records of tool control, including receipt, location, disbursement, and maintenance.
- Verify the condition of returned tools and make proper disposition.
- Determine the need for ordering new or replacement standard tools.
- Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Work with other teams to ensure proper flow of materials and tools to meet production needs.
- Strong organizational and tracking skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical-based bill of materials.
- Ability to lift and move manufactured assemblies, parts, and materials.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows applications and Excel.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently on special tasks.
This position requires a government security clearance, and the successful candidate must be a US Citizen.
