Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine medical procedures, including phlebotomy, PFTs, and audiogram testing
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and administering medications
  • Assist providers during treatment, including preparing equipment and supplies
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient charts and medical histories
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA
  • Provide excellent customer service, including communicating effectively with patients and colleagues
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience
  • At least six months of medical assistant experience, preferably in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
