Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Automation Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in automation processes to enhance and sustain production and warehouse automation systems and methodologies.


Key Responsibilities:
Primary Duties

• Identify and pursue opportunities for equipment enhancement by monitoring and analyzing performance metrics.

• Diagnose and resolve machinery or equipment issues using appropriate tools and software (e.g., Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), robotic programming, Digital Multimeter (DMM), etc.), along with schematics and wiring standards.

• Repair or replace defective components and evaluate machines for optimal performance.

• Interpret schematics and layout diagrams of machinery.

• Assist in the adjustment and calibration of equipment.

• Support the cleaning and lubrication processes of machinery.

• Collaborate with Automation Engineering Teams and other departments to address automation challenges.

• Propose enhancements to assembly, maintenance, safety, testing methods, or products through automated solutions.

• Monitor, inspect, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to equipment performance.

• Enhance output across various operational areas.

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds while adhering to safe lifting practices.

Required Qualifications:
Essential Criteria

• Associate's Degree in Automation Technology or a related field, or relevant military training, or a minimum of 80 credit hours towards a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven knowledge in automation, troubleshooting, or testing.

• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and robotic programming.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 55 pounds while employing safe lifting techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years of relevant experience as an Electronics Technician or Engineering Technician.
