Cloud Automation Engineer

Advantage Tech is seeking a skilled Cloud Automation Engineer to join our Hybrid Client team in Kansas City, MO. This is a new addition to the team, and you will be working in a hybrid office environment with a 3 days in and 2 days remote schedule.

The Role

As a Cloud Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the automation strategy and implementation using AWS, Terraform, PowerShell Scripting, Python, Azure, Ansible, and Cisco technologies. You will collaborate with the IT team to design and deploy network automation solutions from Cisco to Azure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automating tasks and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize AWS cloud services to optimize infrastructure and enhance system performance.
  • Ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing systems and networks.
  • Provide technical expertise in cloud automation technologies to support the company's IT initiatives.
  • Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends to enhance automation capabilities.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Terraform.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting with a track record of successful automation projects.
  • Strong background in Python programming for automation tasks.
  • Demonstrated experience working with AWS cloud services.
  • Proficient in Ansible for network automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of network automation from Cisco to AWS.
  • Familiarity with IT office hybrid work environments.

This position offers the potential for a long-term contract with the possibility of transitioning into a full-time role with the company.
