Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Operations Manager to join our team at EPIC Health System LLC. Key Responsibilities:

  • Staffing & Leadership:
    • Hire, manage, and retain clinical and administrative staff to meet patient care needs.
    • Assess staff competencies, conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions when needed.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high levels of patient satisfaction.
    • Maintain clinic schedules, manage employee time and attendance, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and protocols.
    • Collaborate with providers and departments to optimize care delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Customer Service:
    • Ensure excellent customer service delivery by addressing patient concerns promptly and respectfully.
    • Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their experience meets high standards of care.
  • Supply & Facility Management:
    • Ensure medical supplies and equipment are adequately stocked and functional.
    • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility.
  • Financial & Performance Management:
    • Analyze data and metrics to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
    • Hold the team accountable for hitting key performance metrics and operational goals.
    • Oversight of financial in-take at the center level and completion of banking needs
  • Business Development & Growth:
    • Conduct business development activities to support clinic growth, including capacity reporting and schedule optimization.
    • Build relationships with external partners and vendors to support seamless operations.
  • Compliance & Safety:
    • Ensure adherence to all healthcare laws, regulations, and safety standards.
    • Implement operational strategies that promote a safe and effective environment for patients and staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operational management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to build and nurture high-performing teams by fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual respect.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, with the ability to understand different perspectives and facilitate constructive dialogue.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in strategic planning, workflow optimization, and problem-solving.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to pivot strategies to meet evolving business and patient care needs.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, patients, and external partners.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and lead a team toward shared goals and practice success.
  • Proficient in navigating EHR systems, and other practice management tools (e.g., Microsoft Suite, Phreesia).
  • Demonstrated dedication to delivering high-quality patient care and enhancing the overall patient experience.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence with a focus on improving health outcomes and wellness for patients.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Allscrtips or other EHR systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in a primary care or outpatient clinic environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in Metro Detroit healthcare settings, with a strong understanding of the local healthcare landscape.
