Job Summary:

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager RN to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of patient care in a behavioral health care unit.
  • Provide leadership and direction to staff members, ensuring a healthy therapeutic milieu.
  • Collaborate with administration to develop and implement staffing plans and budgets.
  • Ensure staff competence and training in quality resident care.
  • Manage payroll and other administrative tasks.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation regulations.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN license in the state of Michigan; BSN preferred.
  • Two years of clinical experience in inpatient psychiatric/mental health nursing and two years of progressive nursing managerial experience.
  • Strong verbal, quantitative, managerial, and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Current knowledge of the behavioral healthcare industry, including JCAHO, Medicare, and other state and federal regulatory standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • Leadership and management experience in a behavioral health care setting.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles.
