The Opportunity

As a Phlebotomist/Medical Receptionist - Float at one of our offices, you'll provide an exceptional experience for our patients. You'll be responsible for venipuncture, dispensary responsibilities, and other clinical support services. Your role will be that of an ambassador for our patients, focusing on human connection and service excellence.

You'll work closely with our team to remove barriers to care, ensuring a truly exceptional in-office patient experience. This includes support for the office with a focus on daily management, scheduling, inventory, and facilities. You'll also be the first point of contact for patient feedback and provide any necessary support to the Leads, Office Manager, or in-office providers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide best-in-class venipuncture services for patients of all ages
  • Perform extended scope duties such as non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
  • Maintain high standards of in-office care through proper specimen labeling, handling, and processing, inventory upkeep, and tool sterilization
  • Care for our members beyond the lab room by answering patient messages, following up on lab cases, and assisting our providers and virtual medical team with clerical duties
  • Use C-I-CARE principles in all patient interactions to ensure a fluid and positive in-office experience
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in problem-solving, and supporting in-office providers
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Graduation from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program or relevant training/experience
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside of a training/externship environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, multi-disciplinary teams

About the Role

This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week) with 8 hr shifts generally taking place between 7:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Saturday. The location is based in Gilbert, AZ, and the schedule is subject to change.
