Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, training, and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care, training, and home support to patients as needed
- Collaborate with our team members, skilled nursing home facility representatives, and dedicated Nephrologists to ensure seamless care
- Collect and record patient health data during and after hemodialysis treatment
- Develop and maintain a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes
- Implement and record interventions to achieve expected outcomes in our electronic medical record
- Perform laboratory collection, processing, and shipping procedures, and reschedule missed or inadequate laboratory collections
- Perform clerical tasks, including filing, inventory management, admission documentation, and creating patient charts
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards all patients and colleagues
- Occasional travel to nearby locations may be required
- Administer medications and document patient care
- Valid RN license
- BS/AA/diploma in nursing
- 6 months of RN experience strongly preferred
- 3 months of hemodialysis experience strongly preferred
- BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
