Key Responsibilities

The Patient Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the admission process for patients. This includes:

  • Receiving and processing patient referrals.
  • Collecting and verifying essential patient information.
  • Coordinating scheduling and admission procedures for outpatient services.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in general office and administrative functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with typing, word processing, spreadsheet applications, and billing systems.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in clerical roles, ideally within a healthcare setting.
  • Background in customer service or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.
