Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Unit Manager to join our team at Everett Center in Everett, WA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our nursing unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective nursing strategies and policies.
  • Lead and mentor a team of nurses to provide exceptional patient care and achieve positive clinical outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
  • Oversee medication management and ensure compliance with Genesis HealthCare policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, other medical professionals, and staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of three years of nursing experience.
  • At least one year of nurse leadership experience required.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
