Position Overview:
In the role of Nursing Unit Supervisor, you will work closely under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, overseeing nursing services on the unit to ensure exceptional patient care and comprehensive nursing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the unit, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality care delivery.
- Supervise clinical practices and resource allocation, enhancing patient flow and satisfaction.
- Engage in quality assessment and improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff recruitment and performance evaluations as directed by the Nurse Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Must possess a valid Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Certification in National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association is mandatory upon hire.
- A minimum of 4 years of nursing experience within the last 5 years is essential.
