Job Summary

We are seeking a Seasonal Bartender to join our team at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks to guests, maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar area, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve drinks to guests according to specified recipes and standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar area, including the bar, tables, and tools.
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs to management.
  • Process all payment methods and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Count bank at end of shift and complete designated cashier reports.
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Complete closing duties and follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience.
  • License or certification in bartending or a related field.
