Position Title: Lead Bartender

The Lead Bartender plays a pivotal role in the bar operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. This position requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and expertise in beverage service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee bar operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adequate supplies.
  2. Guide the bar team in crafting innovative cocktails, implementing seasonal menu changes at least three times annually.
  3. Collaborate with spirits vendors to select premium products that enhance our cocktail offerings.
  4. Expand our exclusive spirits collection by sourcing rare items through vendor partnerships.
  5. Develop and manage a unique Whiskey/Cocktail Cart, providing guests with personalized cocktail experiences.
  6. Train new bartenders and conduct educational sessions on cocktails and spirits for the entire team.
  7. Maintain and update the cocktail menu, ensuring accuracy in product availability.
  8. Manage the POS system, updating product information as necessary.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Professional demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
  • A minimum of two years of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale setting.
  • Ability to motivate and train staff while fostering a positive work culture.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage concepts and industry practices.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in the use of POS systems.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with vendors and guests.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS).

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong manual dexterity and coordination.
  • Ability to work in varying conditions of noise and temperature.
