Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student support
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and community-based locations
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Valid Alabama Teacher's Certificate
- Meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) federal and state requirements
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $45,869 - $92,035. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of settings, including classrooms and community-based locations.
