Job Overview:

GDIT is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team at Ft. Hood, TX. This role requires a current and active Secret clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the preparation of items for shipment, including assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material.
  • Receive, unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material, and arrange for the transportation of products to support FSRs in the field.
  • Strategically plan and manage logistics movements and warehouse operations.
  • Prepare daily reports for customer and Site POCs, providing updates on logistics activities.
  • Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order life cycle of equipment supporting AIE system.
  • Monitor quality, quantity of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
  • Utilize spreadsheets to track RMA transactions and assist with inventory procedures, including equipment inventory layout, component list inventories, sub hand receipts, and shortage annex procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.

Requirements:

  • AA/AS degree or equivalent experience (5+ years)
  • Secret Clearance Required
  • GCSS Army Experience Desired
  • Helpdesk Ticket handling experience desired
  • Ability to lift 40lbs, operate a forklift, sit or stand for 8 hours, and support working outside in non-airconditioned work areas.

Work Environment:

40 hours per week, with less than 10% travel required. Onsite work location in USA, TX, Fort Cavazos Hell on Wheels (TXC077).
