Support Professional for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team at Cascade Connections. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Your primary responsibility will be to assist each client with their daily needs, as specified in individual care plans and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily life skills, including personal care and housekeeping chores
Support clients with community integration through outside activities
Assist clients with medical care, as needed
Conduct oneself in a professional manner, and abide by agency and state policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
Effectively communicates and understands, reads, and writes in English
Willing to submit to for-cause drug testing
Able to perform the personal care and housekeeping chores detailed in this document
Organized and efficient
Able to work with diverse client populations in varied settings
Treats all clients with respect and relates in a warm, caring manner
