Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Develop detailed designs and specifications for electrical systems, including 230kV, 115kV, and 12.5kV open-air substations and 115kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
- Project Management: Plan and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including project sponsors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in substation design and development.
- Skills: Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools. Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Utility Industry Experience: Experience working in the utility industry, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
- Professional Engineering License: Possession of a Professional Engineering license in the state of Washington.
- Leadership Experience: Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
