Job Summary:

This key position is responsible for overseeing onsite construction engineering activities on various projects. The primary objective is to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness while managing job controls, project schedules, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage job controls to maintain compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting, and job costing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Supervise and direct project engineering assignments to guarantee timely completion and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, design interpretation, constructability reviews, and documentation of conflicts.
  • Represent the company during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project engineering procedures and work controlling documents to clarify roles and responsibilities.
Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent combinations of technical training and relevant experience are acceptable.

A minimum of 4+ years of experience in construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar roles is required.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and AGTEK Take-off and Primavera Scheduling software.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, and an in-depth understanding of interdependent functional units.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to manage a team of diverse disciplines.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this role include regular talking and hearing, frequent standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to operate a computer keyboard. Occasional reaching, lifting, and moving up to 50 pounds may be required.
