Lead Aerospace Project Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Lead Aerospace Project Manager to join our team at Collins Aerospace, a leading innovator in the aerospace and defense industry. As part of RTX, we have the capabilities and expertise to drive solutions that meet the complex demands of the global market.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless operations and driving innovation within our team. You will oversee administrative and operational aspects, fostering collaboration among project management, planning, and line management teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, adjusting as necessary to adhere to project goals
- Record and document delays, scope changes, and other incidents impacting project scope or schedule
- Identify and pursue cost-saving opportunities to maximize project profitability
- Perform critical path analysis and implement work-around plans to ensure timely project completion
- Conduct meetings, consolidate, and present progress reports related to the business aspects of projects
- Direct all phases of programs from inception through completion, overseeing administrative and operational aspects
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience. Previous experience in engineering, product development, operations, business development, project management, and presenting to customers and leadership is preferred. Additionally, proficiency in NX and Teamcenter software is highly valued.

Benefits and Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $96,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, relocation assistance for qualified candidates, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team redefining aerospace.
