Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team in the Wound Care department at one of our hospitals in Yakima, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

This role involves providing scheduled clinical hours in our Outpatient setting, working closely with the Wound Care team to deliver patient-centered care. You will have the chance to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, while contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of wounds and related conditions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Perform physical exams, take medical histories, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest wound care treatments and technologies, applying evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licensure in Washington State.
  • Experience in wound care and advanced practice settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant software systems.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
