Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Wound Care Specialist to join our team at UNITED WOUND HEALING PS. As a key member of our skin and wound care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with complex wounds.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires standing for extended periods and travel to scheduled locations weekly. You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in wound care and/or surgical services, although extensive training is available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
  • Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls
  • Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies
  • Perform bedside wound care skills, including wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in working state
  • Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license
  • Punctuality, dependability, and ability to work/schedule appointments independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $128,000 - $140,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus potential.
