Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team at New View Place I. As a Groundskeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds of our property, ensuring a clean and well-maintained appearance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Property Appearance/Upkeep: Maintain the property's exterior in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition, conducting daily exterior inspections to ensure cleanliness and curb appeal.
  • Pool Maintenance: Perform daily chemical inspections, maintenance, and cleaning to meet city codes and company standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensure resident satisfaction by maintaining the property to company standards and being available for on-call emergencies.
  • Light Maintenance: Assist maintenance personnel with light maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience/Ability: Ability to follow direction, flexibility with work assignments, customer service experience a plus, and pool certification if applicable.
  • Physical & Cognitive: Frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds, and occasional squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing.
Additional Requirements
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable means of transportation.
  • Insurability: Ability to be insurable at standard rates for driving.
