Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Software Sales Consultant for our Medicine Segment, responsible for overseeing and directing all sales and business development activities within the designated territory.
This role encompasses new business generation, lead assessment, opportunity management, and channel strategy development.
The Senior Software Sales Consultant will focus on institutions within the medical education sector, ensuring the company meets its customer acquisition and revenue objectives for the assigned area.
Work Environment
This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the continental United States.
Daily Activities
Your time will be spent on:
- Formulating sales strategies and aiding in the development of marketing initiatives that stimulate pipeline growth for our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and associated services within the assigned territory.
- Driving new business development and acquiring new clients through proactive outreach and managing leads generated by marketing efforts.
- Overseeing opportunities through various sales stages and converting prospects into revenue to support quarterly and annual financial targets.
- Collaborating with Marketing to refine messaging and communication strategies aimed at enhancing brand visibility, client referrals, and lead generation.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree; an MBA is advantageous.
- A minimum of five years of experience in outside sales with a focus on new business development.
- Experience in business development and consultative selling is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Healthcare and/or Higher Education sectors is a plus.
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets through strategic territory planning and effective forecasting.
- Exceptional consultative selling skills and strong interpersonal abilities with executive-level clients and partners.
- The capability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
- The ability to work across different time zones to support the assigned territory.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
