The Registered Nurse in the Avera Medical Call Center is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Triage: Conduct thorough assessments of patient calls to determine the level of care required.
- Nursing Interventions: Develop and implement individualized care plans to address patient needs and concerns.
- Education and Evaluation: Provide education and support to patients and families, and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
- Marketing and Referrals: Promote hospital services and facilitate referrals to local physicians and community services.
- Education: Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Previous nursing experience is preferred.
- Certifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Avera McKennan Hospital offers a competitive hourly rate of $39.25 per hour, dependent on experience.
