About the Role

Avera Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult B Unit team. As a RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-focused care with a focus on mental health and wellness
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient needs
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement
Requirements
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
  • Strongly encouraged to complete life-saving education specific to specialty area
  • Membership in a professional organization encouraged
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $32.00 - $46.50 per hour
  • Shift differential available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights
