Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, Massachusetts. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting eligibility screenings, comprehensive intake and follow-up assessments, and developing treatment plans for clients with substance use disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices.
- Develop and implement behaviorally oriented treatment plans.
- Provide individual counseling and assist clients in attaining treatment goals.
- Document service delivery and progress of goals and objectives in progress notes.
- Master's degree in a clinical course of study in behavioral health.
- Licensure as LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or active working towards licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Ability to perform diagnostic and risk assessments using current accepted tools and practices.
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans which are behaviorally oriented, measurable, and appropriate for the identified level of care.
- Bilingual preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in behavioral health or addiction.
The work environment is considered sedentary, with work indoors in patient care and office environments.
