Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee U.S. tax functions, including compliance with income tax regulations and tax accounting procedures.
  • Compile data and create schedules for annual federal and state tax return submissions, including international tax information and calculations.
  • Prepare supporting documentation for quarterly and annual income tax accounting and reporting (ASC 740).
  • Ensure adherence to income tax withholding regulations on cross-border transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of foreign tax provisions.
  • Support transfer pricing initiatives and review intercompany transactions.
  • Contribute to R&D tax credit evaluations.
  • Manage the Longview tax provision software.
  • Assist with tax audits and various special projects as required.
  • Conduct research and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Investigate and document resolutions for tax-related issues.
Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. federal and state income tax regulations.
  • Intermediate proficiency in U.S. accounting for income taxes (ASC 740).
  • Advanced skills in Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities and a proactive approach to project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Robust accounting and analytical competencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Familiarity with U.S.-International tax regulations.
  • Knowledge of tax implications related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Experience with Longview Tax Provision or OneSource Tax Provision.
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation is preferred.
Work Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of tax experience in a multinational corporation or accounting firm.
