**Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Public Awareness Training Coordinator to join our Engineering Services Administration team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our external public awareness safety/prevention program and collaborating with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities:*
- Administer ENSTAR's Public Awareness/First Responder Training program, including developing and maintaining databases, coordinating training sessions, and tracking participant engagement.
- Develop and maintain databases to track safety and health training requirements, assist with monthly statistics reports and newsletters, and update the safety and operator qualification website.
- Coordinate required employee training, including classroom instruction, online modules, and hands-on training exercises.
- Prepare Public awareness presentations for the General Public, Emergency Officials, Public Official, Excavators and Contractors, and ENSTAR employees.
- Develop and implement effective training programs that meet regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety within ENSTAR.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years' experience administering a training program, with record-keeping responsibilities preferred.
- One or more years' experience in the construction industry.
- Prior experience with Operator Qualifications training preferred.
- Prior experience in the natural gas business and/or administering safety program-related training preferred.
- Ability to pass federally required initial and continuous Operator Qualifications training.
- Valid Alaska Driver's License and ability to operate a vehicle under ENSTAR's Driving Policy.
