Position Overview:

The Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding LSEG Risk Intelligence's market presence.

This position requires a strategic problem solver with a proven track record in sales management, particularly in the financial technology, bank verification, and identity verification spaces.

The Sales Manager will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and implement sales strategies, handle long sales cycles, and build strong relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the financial technology, bank verification, and identity verification sectors.

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and sales collateral.

Team Leadership & Development:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve individual and team goals.

Drive the team to overachieve sales quotas, ensuring consistent performance and growth.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching to enhance team performance.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, integrity, and customer focus.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with LSEG Risk Intelligence's products and services.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on industry trends and how LSEG Risk Intelligence's solutions can address their challenges.

Manage long sales cycles, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout the process.

Work closely with the customer success team to ensure seamless onboarding and support for new clients.

Contract Negotiations:

Lead contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and alignment with company goals.

Work closely with legal and finance teams to structure agreements that meet both client and company needs.

Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform sales strategies.

Share client feedback to the product and marketing teams on market needs and opportunities.

Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market and develop strategies to address them.

Reporting & Forecasting:

Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline development, and revenue forecasts.

Prepare and present regular sales reports to the Director of Sales and senior management.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.

What you bring:

BA/BS... MBA is a plus.

5+ years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales management role within the financial technology, bank verification, identity verification, or fraud prevention industries.

Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

Experience leading a team to overachieve sales quotas.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in contract negotiations and managing long sales cycles.

Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.

Knowledge of the financial technology landscape, including identity verification, bank verification, and fraud prevention, is highly preferred.
