Responsibilities:

  • Edit high-quality videos quickly and independently, ensuring a seamless viewing experience for our audience.
  • Lead new initiatives and projects with limited supervision, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.
  • Work with footage from various sources to create new edits, showcasing our brand's unique voice and perspective.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and content teams to concept and problem-solve based on briefs, ensuring our content meets the highest standards.
  • Lead creation or assist with all aspects of production for various types of motion graphic video content, including video campaign creation and collaboration with internal creative departments.
  • Responsible for the look, tone, and narrative arc of video content in alignment with brand and social messaging, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for our audience.
  • Clearly communicate production and editing processes to teams, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and proactively prioritize work with content team lead.
  • Versioning out final assets, closed captioning, and other tasks as needed, demonstrating a commitment to attention to detail and quality.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as film, video production, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4+ years' experience in video editing at an agency, post house, or brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and expertise.
  • Experience creating all forms of video content, including long-form, short-form video content, 30-second commercials, and social media videos.
  • High degree of attention to detail, specifically when handling multiple video projects, versioning, and receiving feedback from project owners.
  • Positive and solution-based attitude, with a commitment to taking ownership of your impact on each project and ensuring all details are complete and thought-out.
  • Expert-level proficiency with video editing software, including Adobe Creative Suite video products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator), as well as motion applications (After Effects & Audition) and standard design applications.
  • Experience with broadcast and online video formats, with a comfort level working in a nimble team structure and autonomy.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with a willingness to adapt to changing project needs and deadlines.
