Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team at UPLIFT Desk. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating engaging and high-quality video content that showcases our innovative products and resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the videographer in editing video content for product launches, tutorials, promotional materials, and social media campaigns.
  • Use existing video footage to create exciting and engaging content for our potential customers.
  • Assemble raw footage into polished videos that meet project goals and align with UPLIFT Desk's brand identity.
  • Perform color correction, audio adjustments, and motion graphics as needed to enhance video quality.
  • Maintain organized file management systems for video assets.
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize new video ideas.
  • Edit and adapt content to different formats, ensuring consistency across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Ensure timely delivery of video projects while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Provide creative input on storyboarding, pacing, and overall flow of video projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest editing techniques and video trends to continuously improve skills and keep UPLIFT Desk content fresh.
  • Manage revisions and feedback from stakeholders to produce the best possible outcome.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or comparable software).
  • Basic understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and composition.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality edits that align with brand standards.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to take direction and provide feedback in a collaborative environment.

Position Details:

  • Compensation: $23 - $27 hourly
  • Type: Full-time
  • Employee Status: Regular
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, 40 hours per week
