Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our supportive team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a K-5 case load.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with various disabilities, including learning disabilities, emotional disturbances, and autism spectrum disorders.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the unique needs of each student in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure student success and progress.
  • Use data-driven methods to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress, attendance, and IEP goals.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid state teaching license with Special Education endorsement required.
Location and Type

Full-time position near Helena, Alabama, Monday to Friday.

Pay and Benefits

Starting at $30 per hour.
