Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our nursing leadership team at UW Health. As a Nurse Director, you will be responsible for directing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
  • Direct and evaluate the department's workforce, including staff scheduling and performance.
  • Prepare and administer revenue budget, operating budget, volume projections, and oversight for FTEs.

Requirements

  • Minimum - Three (3) years of relevant clinical experience and demonstrated progressive leadership experience.
  • Preferred - Five (5) years of progressive leadership experience within the same or relevant practice area.

Education and Certifications

  • Minimum - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Preferred - Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum - RN Licensed in State of Wisconsin.
  • Preferred - Certification in relevant specialty.
