About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Engineer to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and certification of state-of-the-art Avionics Systems for our business aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and integrate Avionics Systems, including AFCS, Communication, Navigation, and Display systems.
  • Work with system suppliers and other interfacing disciplines to ensure smooth integration of systems on the aircraft.
  • Conduct and support ARP4754 system and aircraft verification and validations.
  • Liaise with Certifying Authorities and support their delegates in achieving system certification.
  • Support the Final Assembly Line and In-Service Aircrafts for any design-related issues.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of software for customization of crew alerting logic and synoptics pages, I/O configuration into an IMA environment, and automation of aircraft-level functions.
Requirements
  • University degree in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Avionics Systems.
  • Knowledge of industry standards DO-178, DO-160, and ARP4754.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, work planning structure, and prioritization.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
