Job Summary

The Production Team Member will safely operate various machines and equipment involved in production, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Production Machinery: Safely operate production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications, including lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment.
  • Meet Production Targets: Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
  • Inspect and Measure Parts: Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
  • Record and Maintain Logs: Maintain logs and records of units produced, including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
  • Perform Equipment Maintenance: Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment, and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
  • Perform Other Related Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Ability to follow directions and work well in a team environment.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation.
  • Production Knowledge: Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production equipment.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Availability: Ability to work overtime.
  • Additional Skills: Forklift driving experience a plus, and fluency in English.
