Position Overview

American Axle & Manufacturing is currently seeking dedicated Manufacturing Production Specialists for our operations. This role offers immediate and exceptional opportunities for growth and development.

Incentives

  • The company provides a Sign-On Bonus for new hires, amounting to $3,000, payable after 90 days of employment.
  • Current associates can earn a Referral Bonus of $3,000 for referring successful candidates, with payments distributed after 90 and 180 days of the new hire's employment.

The starting pay rate for a Manufacturing Production Specialist is $18.00 per hour, plus shift premiums.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass various tasks related to the machining and assembly of automotive axle components and final products. This position may involve repetitive lifting, twisting, and bending in a manufacturing environment, providing hands-on experience in automotive production.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work any shift
  • Successful completion of a criminal and educational background check
  • Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed
  • Strong motivation and interest in manufacturing
  • Proven history of safe work practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
