Job Summary

The Team Leader of the Cardiovascular Testing department will assist the department Manager and Supervisor in coordinating education and daily operations of the lab. This role requires a Registered Sonographer (Cardiac and/or Vascular modalities) with expertise in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support staff to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the performance of procedure-related services
  • Act as a department resource in the understanding of normal and abnormal Cardiovascular anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology
  • Demonstrate expertise in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system
  • Understand the needs of the organization and support the mission, values, and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services
Requirements
  • 3 Years Clinical-Related Area Required
  • 2 Years Leadership Preferred
  • Graduate Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound Or Cardiac Ultrasound Or Cardiovascular Sonography Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field Preferred
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Or Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist Required
  • Basic Life Support And Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Preferred
Work Schedule

Days, with occasional weekend and call requirements.
