Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Select Medical's Critical Illness Recovery Hospitals. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or post-ICU patients who require extended hospital care.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
  • Promote continuous quality improvement.
  • Teach and counsel patients and families.

Qualifications:

  • Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current state licensure.
  • Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire.
