We are currently seeking a Construction Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in guiding construction teams to strengthen and prolong the lifespan of our nation's structures. Your projects will primarily involve concrete restoration, masonry repair, waterproofing, and structural reinforcement within commercial and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee field crews on-site while accurately assessing labor needs.
- Develop crew schedules and ensure that work is executed in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Prepare daily field reports, purchase orders, delivery tickets, and speed memos for clients and internal management.
- Ensure that crews operate tools and equipment safely, properly, and efficiently.
- Assist Project Managers in evaluating production rates relevant to the project.
To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in general construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven capability to supervise up to 10 technicians with minimal subcontract oversight.
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute construction drawings and contract specifications.
- Strong commitment to safety practices.
- Experience in producing look-ahead schedules and managing construction documents as required by the project.
- Effective communication skills with customers, crew members, and project teams.
- Basic computer proficiency and construction mathematics skills.
Preference may be given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, commensurate with experience.
