Key Responsibilities:- Develop, audit, and regularly update comprehensive training plans for various roles, including scribe and clinical support specialist.
- Apply adult learning theory concepts to develop training plans that incorporate a variety of teaching modalities and assessment tools.
- Provide training to new and existing staff with touchpoints throughout the training process to assess skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Monitor, track, and regularly evaluate progress of trainees; provide coaching, support, and creative solutions for the trainee to meet expectations and adjust training plans as needed.
- Recommend and implement training plan changes that result in best practices that achieve increased efficiencies and qualitative gains.
- Provide onboarding assistance to ensure EMR set-up and access is appropriate based on position requirements.
- Work collaboratively with application specialist team and other departments to ensure training plans align with project plans.
- Serve as a role model for customer service while building an innovative approach to maximizing utilization of the EMR.
- Provide leadership in resolving specific training concerns, either on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
- Travel to multiple locations to perform job duties as needed.
- Associates Degree or two (2) years experience regularly working in an EMR.
- Medent experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, and Teams preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required to effectively exchange information with patients, providers, and staff.
